Paul Gaylord, President and CEO

Paul is a respected, proven leader with 26 years of experience providing executive management support to military and civilian senior leaders.

As an Executive Manager in the Air Force District of Washington, he led the technical and proficiency training of over 400 administrators in the National Capital Region. His training programs encompassed five Air Force Wings and 58 partner units, directly supporting the President of the United States, Vice President of the United States, Office of Secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other senior government leaders.

Paul has led teams in stateside assignments and deployed locations, supporting the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command, Commander of United States Northern Command, Air Force Space Command, and 11th Wing Commander.

As a member of AFDW 844th Communications Group Paul served as principal advisor to the commander on all issues related to the enlisted force, exercised general supervision over 300+ assigned enlisted personnel, and provided a mission-ready enlisted force to execute the unit mission.

Paul retired from the United States Air Force in 2009 and entered the private sector. Before founding Polaris, he held positions as consultant, project manager, and program manager.

Dale Brandon – Director, Business Development

Dale is a recognized and trusted technical leader with over 33 years of experience spanning four major defense contractors: General Dynamics, IBM, Loral and Lockheed Martin.

At Lockheed Martin, Dale was a Senior Engineering Manager responsible for the Development Programs organization in Manassas, Virginia that provided oversight of system engineering, systems integration, and test planning and execution of new development programs. He achieved a high level of success in maintaining and winning new programs, receiving the 2007 Business Capture Award as Proposal Manager for the single largest competitive new-business capture for Lockheed Martin’s Mission Systems division. In 2006, Dale was a member of the proposal team that was presented with Lockheed Martin’s Prestigious NOVA Award for the Defense Message System 11-Year Performance Completion/10 Year Sustainment Contract Award.

Dale has a proven record of strong communication, client-relations skills, team-leadership skills, and an understanding of systems integration and testing to complement his project management skills. In addition, Dale has demonstrated a track record of sound financial management and project planning.

Dale retired from Lockheed Martin in 2013 and joined the Polaris Consulting Group in 2014 as Director of Business Development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networking from Strayer University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
